Delete your Vitrai account
You can delete your Vitrai account and its data at any time. If you still have the app installed, deleting from inside it is quickest. If you have already uninstalled it, use the form below.
From the app
- Open Vitrai and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Type delete to confirm.
From this page
Enter the email address your account uses. We will email a confirmation link to that address. Opening the link brings you back to this page to confirm — it does not delete anything by itself. The link works once and expires a short time after it is sent.
Confirm deletion
You opened a confirmation link. Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Nothing has been deleted yet.
What is deleted, and what is kept
Deleted outright:
- Your profile and sign-in details
- Reading history and unlocked explanations
- Streak, daily progress and leaderboard score
- Your subscription record with our payment provider
Kept, with your identity removed:
- Purchase records, kept for up to six years for accounting and tax. They no longer identify you.
- Any content reports you filed, kept for up to 12 months. These describe AI-generated text, not you, and the moderation queue needs them.
Paid subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed by the App Store or Google Play, so cancel yours there as well.
Using Vitrai without an account
If you have never signed up, Vitrai stores your progress against your device rather than an email address. There is no address to send a confirmation link to, so this form cannot reach it. That data holds no name, email address or other contact details. Uninstalling the app removes it from your device; to have the copy on our servers removed as well, write to team@lvim.io.
